Was built in 1930 as the Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk Saal (Church Hall) and was sold to the council to be a public library in 1966. The original foundation stone (photo above) was removed and is now located at the new church offices. The town council agreed to the purchase and to modernise it at a total cost of R10,500 so as to be the best equipped in the region.
