Interior alterations to building on Alfred Terrace, Central Port Elizabeth. The work undertaken by John Rushmere was to convert an historic residential terrace house, into offices for the Eastern Cape branch of the South African Institute of Architects. The exterior of the building was restored while alterations to the interior were carried out to create open plan areas more suited to the new use. The colour scheme is understood to have been advised by the architect, Stephanie VOLPE. (Gerald Humphrey, 2018)
