(S v d Stel Bul 11 Oct 1965) 'The finest house in Stellenbosch' according to Fransen 2004:187. It is the only double-storey 'H' plan house in Stellenbosch. It has had several restorations. There were plans for a proposed restoration by LA ELSWORTH, whether these were carried out is unknown. Provincial Heritage Site.
