See more photographs Park Street Assembly of God (1966), designed by KESTING is situated opposite the Pretoria Art Museum on the corner of Park street and Wessels street, Arcadia, Pretoria. The materials and finishes were carefully selected due to budget constraints - the 765m2 complex, including furniture, was built for a total amount of R30 000 (R39/m2). The project received an Honourable Mention from the Institute of South African Architects in 1967. 'Well-proportioned, box-like church' having 'a certain Japanese quality' (Greig, 1971 201).
