A small scale club house for the Victoria Boys Club, in the suburb of Milner Estate, East London.

The foundation stone recorded the following inscription:

VICTORIA BOYS CLUB

THIS STONE WAS LAID BY
N. O. NORTON ESQ.
MAYOR OF EAST LONDON
MARCH 24TH 1932.

The foundation stone was unfortunately removed in 2007 when a large roller shutter door was inserted into the facade. The building is currently used as a spray painting workshop.

Norman Ogilvie Norton (1881-1968) was a lawyer and founded the East London law firm of Norton Gale and Kingon. He was a keen cricketer and played in the fifth Test against the touring English team in the 1909/1910 season. He served two terms as Mayor of East London, from 1927-1929 and from 1931-1932.
