An unassuming stone building originally opened in February 1930 as the "Autosite", it was the club house of the automobile club. Later the club became the country club. It is located along Marine Drive between the university and Schoenmakerskop. The building is extant but is not longer a club. (Gerald Humphrey, October 2016)
