Lloyd received an invitation to carry out an extended research program and write a full Brief for the new Escom Management and Training College. Initially this entailed working within the Department of Education and Training, and involved extensive visits to and analysis of all Training facilities in South Africa. This was followed by visits to major corporate training schools and University facilities in the UK, France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany the USA and Brazil. The Escom Management College was fully designed and detailed during this period.
