Menu Home Upfront Now Up Books Towns Structures People Firms Lexicon LEITCH, Marjory Sutherland Born: 1913 Architect SACA: Reg No: 616 Year registered: 1936 DipArch 1935 (Witwatersrand) The daughter of Arthur LEITCH, Marjory Leitch studied architecture at the University of the Witwatersrand, graduating with a Diploma in Architecture in August 1935. She married a fellow student, the architect George ABBOTT in 1940. They lived in Johannesburg in a house designed by DM COWIN and G Abbott. He was tragically killed in an air crash during WW2 active service in 1941. In 1959 her address was 121 Jan Smuts Avenue, Parkwood, Johannesburg. ISAA 1936.
