SCHWARTZ, Ernst

Architect

Spes Qual (Rand), ISAA, TPIA.

All that is currently known about this architect is that he was Bauhaus trained and a member of the Transvaal Provincial Institute of Architects in 1935, living in Pretoria. He designed a number of private houses and several of these were in Brooklyn, Pretoria. In 1959 he is recorded as a salaried member of the TPIA in the employ of the Fabricated Steel Manufacturing Company (Pty) Ltd of 68 Elsburg Road, Germiston, Transvaal.
