Hotagterklip, Western Cape


Situated near Struisbaai, Hotagterklip is one of a number fishing villages on the Cape coast characterised by whitewashed cottages with thatched roofs, half-doors and great chimney stacks.

HISTORIC FISHERMAN'S COTTAGES
This impressive architectural complex consists of nine fishermen's cottages, all examples of the traditional vernacular style.
