The building comprises a very large precast concrete groin vault.

Update: The building was auctioned off by the City of Cape Town for R135 million on 26 February 2026, allegedly to the Nigerian-born leader of a charismatic church called Spirit Revelation Ecclesia, which he appears to have established in Cape Town around 2010.
