This home was originally the garage / stables behind the main house of William Fletcher, owner of Pentrich in 1910. It was bought by Spencer Mills from Fletcher's deceased estate in September 1917 and later converted into a home by CHERRY who added two bedrooms, a kitchen, servants' quarters and a verandah in 1922. Bangaloo is a misspelling of the Gujarati word bangalo from which the English word bungalow is derived.
