(SAB Apr 1939:71; SAB Nov 1939:68) "An Art Deco masterpiece and one of the few remaining bioscopes (cinemas) built in this style throughout South Africa in the late 1930’s. Motor dealerships and bioscopes were the fashion industries between the wars and they reflected the new Art Deco style. It has a modernised interior and a badly altered corner facade. Currently used as a religious centre."
