Two storey warehouse with four similar, but not identical, painted brick gable fronts on Somerset Road. The right hand gable, by Parker is the oldest, followed from right to left by Breusing, Parker and Forsyth, and Chapman. (Rennie 1983:53)

The Western Cape Archives' online catalogue describes this project as "alterations and additions". The Castle Wine and Brandy Co buildings, dating from 1902 onwards, were re-developed into the 'Somerset Square' retail complex Somerset Square in the 1990s. (Arthur Radburn, 2023)
