This building replaced the First Standard Bank on this site. When Rennie inspected it in March 1978, it was still a Standard Bank branch. He thought the building's date to be c1960. Closure date of this Standard Bank branch to be established. The building has housed the Portuguese restaurant and bar Dias Tavern upstairs since at least 2009. Downstairs the building has successively housed a Latin dance club, a boxing club, and since 2025 a martial arts gym (Google street view). References: Rennie, John for CPIA. 1978.
