Watermill at Groot Rivier

Built by a German, CJ Wagenaar. Building of clay under corrugated iron roof. All the timber is from the local Cape cedar tree, including the overshot waterwheel, launder, waterwheel axles, pit wheel and lantern set and bridge tree. By 2014 it was noted that the wheel was no longer operational due to lack of use (Len Raymond The Heritage Portal).
