Former whaler's cottage. Part of the whaling empire of Johan H Muller who operated a whaling station at Villa Capri. O'Reilly became the owner in 1916. William Black designed a new verandah with entrance steps. It was restored by John Perry in 1917, while also adding a loft, stairs, two dormer windows and a garage. The roof was strengthened and lined with asbestos as a fire retardant.
