The curved natural stone walls of the ground floor level anchors the residence to the koppie overlooking the northern suburbs of Pretoria. The upper floor rests on slender columns and cantilevers over the ground floor. A white frame wraps around the glass and steel facade offering uninterrupted views of the tree-lined landscape. In 2012 Inge Wilkinson of SOLOarchitect was appointed as architect for the restoration work on the residence. In 2013 the project received an Award of Merit from the PIA. |
