Fine example of a verandah house with 5 bays (4 windows located symmetrically around a central entrance door) flanked by steep pitched roofed wings as 'stoepkamers' with verandah formed by continuous steep pitch of main roof supported on timber posts and Y brackets, central dormer ventilator and roof dormers located in captured gabled 'stoepkamers'. The left wing has service doors to the side giving access to the postal agency and registry.
