Originally built in 1904 additions were done in 1908. Last year [2015] saw the illegal demolition of the old ERPM Recreation Hall off Cason Road, near Main Reef Road in Boksburg. Until then, the Recreation Hall Annex was one of the few surviving industrial structures designed by Sir Herbert Baker. (J. S. Afr. Inst. Min.
