This large church building is located near Mt Moorosi in Lesotho. It was designed and built in the 1950's by the priest of the church. The surprise is the disconnect between the exterior and the interior. The building is actually a steel portal frame structure fabricated in Bloemfontein and erected on the site. The exterior walls in local stone were then added. I think it is fantastic and has an ethereal atmosphere of lightness when one enters. Sadly, it is slowly beginning to fall apart.
