Die gemeente Philiadelphia het in 1946 besluit om 'n deel van die kerkplein aan die Boerevereniging af te staan vir die bou van die Boereverenigingsaal. Dit is in 1950 voltooi. (Morné van Rooyen, 2015) The Philiadelphia congregation decided in 1946 to donate part of the church square to the Farmers' Association for the construction of the Farmers' Association Hall. It was completed in 1950.
