Built in typical Cape Dutch Revival style on an H-plan format, probably not custom designed but a type plan devised by Moerdijk for his Dutch Church parsonages (Pastorie) and also published in Die Boerevrouw as ''n Huis vir 'n warm distrik'. subsequent additions included the enlargement of the entrance hall, elongation of the back H-wing legs with the insertion of a flat-roofed section of extra roofed areas between.
