It was known as the "Fairleigh Bantu School". A beautiful building now used by the Newcastle municipality as offices for our Civil Services. The Principal at the time (1932-1938) was the Presbyterian minister of the Bantu Presbyterian Church in Spookmill near Dannhauser, a certain Mbanga James George Benjamin Molefe.
