Hutchinson designed Hilton Mansions, 182/188 West St, (renamed Pixley ka Seme Street) for C Hirchowitz in 1924.

This building is listed under the Durban Town Planning Scheme Regulations. It is described as Berea Style of the Union period, with architectural and townscape value. It is located on a corner with Union Lane, and directly opposite Dick King Street, another city lane.

Sometime since 1983 the open street balconies have been enclosed with glazing.
