Ndebele house painting is a style of African art practiced by the Southern Ndebele people of South Africa. It is predominantly practiced by the Ndebele women when painting homes. (Wikipedia)

This is a reconstruction of a Ndebele Village which received severe criticism from many in the architecture profession.

The official opening was commemorated with a granite plaque with the wording:

This plaque was unveiled to

on Ubuntu and National Building

Botshabelo. This memorabilia
Was unveiled by the Executive
Deputy President of the Republic
of South Africa Her Excellency
Phumzile Mlambo-Nguka.

2021: The village has deteriorated to a sad state.
