A single storeyed factory comprising warehouses, manufacturing department and administration block arranged around internal courtyards. Manufacturing bays are mechanically ventilated and north, west and east facades are externally louvered or have external canopies 'to ensure the high standard of comfort which promotes industrial efficiency' (Greig, 1971: 111).
