STEEL STAIR 2 Elland street, Durban 1990 This elegant stair, in the reception area of the architect's offices, has a single tubular steel stringer on the middle third line, with folded plate steel treads welded on. Carpet is glued to the tread surface. The tubular steel handrail is supported by a bent tubular steel style. The treads are slighly resilient. Architect: Hallen Custers Smith STAALTRAP Ellandstraat 2, Durban 1990 Dié elegante trap, in die ontvangsportaal van die kantoor van die argitek, het 'n enkel buisstaal trapboom op die middelderdelyn, met gevoude staalplaat treestukke daaraan vasgesweis. Tapyt is op die treevlakke geplak. Die buisstaal handreling word gestut op 'n geknakte staalpypstyl. Die treestukke is effens veerkragtig. Argitek: Hallen Custers Smith
