Law is found working in Cape Town from about 1895. His body of work comprises mainly commercial and retail premises located in the City Bowl and speculative housing on the Atlantic seaboard, some where he acted as designer and developer [see Pryce-Lewis List]. He was invited to join the South African Society of Architects (SASA) in 1902, thus being a founder member. He presumably became a member of the CPIA when it was founded in 1902 in place of the SASA. He was last listed in Cape Town directories in 1912. His Wikipedia entry suggests he retired back to the United Kingdom, where he died.
