H KALLENBACH and one PHILLIPS were evidently in partnership in 1897 since they signed the drawings for the Maurice Building in Johannesburg (1897); they were also listed in the 1903 Longland's directory at 23-34 Primrose Buildings, Fraser St, Johannesburg. There is no record yet of any work by the partnership after the Anglo-Boer War.
