Schröder Main Architects (SMA) was established as an Architectural Practice in May 2012, when LYDIA SCHRÖDER ARCHITECT was joined by Andrew MAIN as a partner. They offered their clients a combined 36 years of experience encompassing the full complement of architectural services, ranging from investigations and feasibility studies, through sketch design and documentation to construction administration and final completion.

SMA was a Namibian firm and had extensive experience with the challenges related to the design and construction of projects in the remote and ecologically sensitive areas of the country. They were involved with a wide variety of projects for the Namibian Government, ranging from new school hostels at inaccessible villages in the Zambezi region, to a Health Centre in the Kavango-West, various clinics in the Omusati Region, Regional Offices ni the Oshikoto and Erongo Regions and various projects in and around Windhoek.
