GOODWIN, AE

Born: 1877
Died: ?

Architect

AE Goodwin arrived in the Cape in 1896. He was a civil engineer and architect. It seems likely that he was the Goodwin who entered partnership in Johannesburg around 1903 with CD CUTHBERT and C SMALL (cf GOODWIN, SMALL & CUTHBERT). Johnson suggests (1987:371) that he was also possibly the Goodwin of GOODWIN & JAMESON of East London (cf GOODWIN & JAMESON).
