An architect who appears to have come from England before 1909, Gibb was listed in partnership with G CAMPBELL (cf GIBB & CAMPBELL) in Boksburg in 1909 and in Johannesburg in 1911. By about 1935 he had moved to Port Elizabeth. He resigned from the Institute of South African Architects in 1939 and returned to England where he lived in Tring. The only building as yet ascribed to him is the Boksburg Synagogue (1919). ISAA 1927.
