Debbie Wintermeyer has been involved in the architectural field since obtaining her Masters in Architecture (Professional) in 2004. She was employed at NGONYAMA OKPANUM HEWITT-COLEMAN (NOH) for 3 years before leaving to become one of the members of THE WORKPLACE ARCHITECTS.

Projects which Debbie was involved in while with NGONYAMA OKPANUM HEWITT-COLEMAN included Addo Road Pedestrian Safety, Statue of Freedom, Peterson Micro Enterprise Centre, International Convention Centre, Spatial Implementation Plan for Mandela Bay Development Agency , Motherwell Bed and Breakfast, New and additional and alterations to various houses, Paddock Townhouse Development, Gqebera Multi Purpose Centre Pre - Feasibility, Fountain Road Upgrades Feasibility Study , Century Hall additions and alterations, Mlonzi Boutique Hotel and Struandale Pharmaceutical Warehouse.

Debbie is currently furthering her skills by attending and studying the Green Star SA process for certification of building run by the Green Building Council of South Africa. She is currently actively involved in the rating of the NMMU Business School.

Debbie is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), she is a trustee of the Swallows Partnership and a committee member of the Eastern Cape Institute of Architects.
