CAMERON, Miss ISA, daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. M. Cameron, of Scotland. Miss Cameron was born in Pietermaritzburg and was educated in Maritzburg and London, where she studied art, winning a small scholarship at the Chelsea School of Art, attended the Royal College of Art, and studied in Paris. She returned to South Africa in 1929, and since then has completed many works of art, both in colour and in sculpture. She is particularly interested in Native and Indian types; has designed panels in various Post Offices in the Union; exhibited at the Empire Exhibition in Johannesburg in 1936. Her special inclination goes towards decorating and designing. Her parents came to South Africa about forty-five years ago. Her recreations are swimming and travel. Miss Cameron resides in Sarnia, near Durban, Natal.
