An artist who designed artworks for the Ceramic Studio.
1906-35: Lived in Britain. 1921-23: Studied architecture at the Cardiff School of Art, Wales. 1924-35: Studied painting at the Hornsey School of Art, London (Art Teacher's Diploma). (E. Berman, Art and artists of South Africa, 2nd ed., Cape Town, Balkema, 1983) 1935-7: Lecturer, Durban School of Art. 1938: Lecturer, Fine Art Dept., University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg. (The Common Room Magazine, 1935-8) 1938-43: Lecturer, Fine Art Dept, Witwatersrand Technical College, School of Art and Craft (Acting Head).
