AURET, Abraham

Architect


Was a pupil of THIBAULT and ANREITH in their short time as pioneer teachers at the Technical Institute founded by the Lodge de Goede Hoop in 1815. Auret became a drawing master in Cape Town from 1825 to 1827 before becoming a draughtsman in the Surveyor-General's office where he was employed from 1829 until about 1845.
