Dieter Brandt is the Project Architect for Freedom Park Museum and Pan African Archive at the Office for Collaborative Architects. He art-directed the exhibition for the South African Pavilion at the 10th International Venice Biennale and at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London and acts on invitation as an external examiner at the South African schools of architecture. Dieter is currently the lead designer for the new Mathematical Sciences Building at the University of the Witwatersrand for MMA ARCHITECTS and has recently formed his own practice BRANDT ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS.

He was elected a member of the 2013 GIfA committee.
