Was listed as an architect working in Durban in 1904. Nothing is currently known about his architectural career. When he died in 1920 in Grey's Hospital, Pietermaritzburg, his profession was given as that of a painter and a labourer and a note added that he had been employed early in his career in the Mechanical Department of the South African Railways in Pietermaritzburg. His father and several relations were painters (artists), his cousins being Charles Wildway and one Pasquier, both artists working in Britain. (NAD MSCE 49/1920)
