HUSSEY, Geoffrey Mark

Architect

Was born in Victoria, Western Cape Province, son of George Hussey, educated at SACS. He obtained his Diploma in Architecture from the University of Cape Town and furthered his studies at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture. He did active duty in World War II as Major in the South African Engineering Corps and was still recorded as being in the Reserve of Officers in 1950. He married Madea Angelo on 1951 05 03. In 1958 he is recorded as principal in G MARK HUSSEY & PARTNERS. In 1959 he was a partner in G MARK HUSSEY, VAN RENSBURG & ASSOCIATES, 601 Vanderstel Buildings, Pretorius Street, Pretoria.
