An Ellis, L.S. attended the AA 1941-42 but it cannot be confirmed if this is SAG Ellis. This is the only Ellis with an initial ‘S’ to have attended since 1905. (Edward Bottoms, Archivist, Architectural Association), but because of his entry into the ISAA register he is presumed to be the same person

In 1959 and again in 1969 his address was given as 27/30 Court Chambers, Andries Street, Pretoria practicing as principal under the style of A Gordon Ellis.
