MARTIN, Marilyn Born: 1943 08 16 Died: 2022 05 22 Historian Was born on 1943 08 16 in McGregor, Western Cape. For many years she was the curator of the National Gallery. Director of Art Collections, Iziko Museums of Cape Town. Curator of Picasso and Africa, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Trustee of Arts & Culture Trust. Member of Post Office Consultative Committee. She was conferred a Master's of Architecture degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in January 1981 with Dennis RADFORD as study leader, the study is titled "Phillip Dudgeon: His Life and Works."
