David YUILL was conferred a Master's of Architecture degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in March 1985 with Dennis RADFORD as study leader, the study is titled "The Architecture of Kimberley, 1870-1914."

In 1994 he was a partner in GOLDBLAT, YUILL & PARTNERS and was responsible for renovations and alterations to "The Lodge" in Kimberley for Museum purposes.
