CLARKSON, William Albert Paxton

Was probably born in New Zealand since he was articled to Joseph C Maddison, Christchurch, New Zealand in 1879 for three years and remained there for another three years. In 1886 he went to London where he was employed as an assistant to an unnamed firm. During this time he travelled in England and for a short time in France. By 1910 he was living in Johannesburg, having passed his RIBA examinations and become an associate member of the ARIBA in 1889. His career after this date is obscure.
