SPOOR, Hessel

Architect

Born in Bodegraven, South Holland. He trained in the Netherlands where he obtained an MSc from Delft. He came to South Africa around 1939 and worked for PERRY & LIGHTFOOT in Cape at about that time.

In 1959 he was in partnership in Cape Town with RFH CHAPMAN (cf CHAPMAN & SPOOR).

He was married to Arisca Hendrika Cornelia Schouten (1912-1983).
