Was active in Cape Town during the 1880s when a Mr Lewin undertook a development in Upper Caledon St to Abden's design. He appears to have been in partnership with CJ OLLEY in Kimberley around 1889 (cf ABDEN and OLLEY). One CA FABBEN was referred to by Yuill (1984:55) but it is possible that this was a misprint for Abden - or vice-versa.
