Was active in Cape Town during the 1880s when a Mr Lewin undertook a development in Upper Caledon St to Abden's design. He appears to have been in partnership with CJ OLLEY in Kimberley around 1889 (cf ABDEN & OLLEY). One CA FABBEN was referred to by Yuill (1984:55) but it is possible that this was a misprint for Abden - or vice-versa.
