Was born in Manchester. Nothing is yet known of his training, nor is it certain when he came to South Africa. He was working in Durban by 1926 where he practised until around 1929. Not many buildings by him are known but, according to drawings existing in the Durban School of Architecture, he seems to have executed a number of private houses. ISAA 1927.
