Joined the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT in Pretoria in 1921, permanent staff in 1925. In 1929 he was appointed architectural assistant grade 1. He moved to Cape Town at some point and retired in 1955. He died in the Cape. Currently this is all that is known of Russell. ISAA 1927.
