| | P'YURA, ?Born: fl. 1890
Architect |
Was an Austrian architect who was asked by the Moravian mission to come to help build their mission buildings in South Africa. He arrived in the country around 1890 and built the second Moravian mission church at Genadendal in the Cape in about 1890. He was killed in a hunting accident, and his orphaned daughter was brought up by the Badenhorst family, a member of which had fired the shot that killed P'Yura. (Fisher 1984).
