Menu Home Upfront Now Up Books Towns Structures People Firms Lexicon PRENTICE, RJC Born: fl. 1937 Architect His career falls within the area of quantity surveying but he was elected Vice-President-in-chief of the Institute of South African Architects and Chapter of Quantity Surveyors (1938-1939). Prentice was not registered as a member of the ISAA as he practised purely in the capacity of quantity surveyor and as such worked for the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT where he was Chief Government Quantity Surveyor by 1938. He was Vice President-in-Chief of the Institute of South African Architects in 1937-1938 and again in 1946-1947 and President-in-Chief in 1938-1939. FSI; MCQS.
